The Series 34 exam (The Retail Off-Exchange Forex Examination)

Thorsten Schuell will provide the means for you to undertake the Series 34 exam. The exam consists of 40 marked questions, candidates will have a total time limit of an hour to complete the exam which is a National Futures Association exam. In order to pass, candidates taking the exam will have to achieve a score of 70% or above. Passing the Series 34 exam allows you to be approved as a forex firm or an associated person which is compulsory for engaging in off-exchange retail forex.

Beschreibung

There are a few exceptions to this rule which means that an individual can engage in off-exchange retail forex, these are if:

  •  the candidate has satisfied the Series 3 or Series 32 proficiency requirement and:
    • > Can evidence that they has passed the Series 34 within two years of the date the application is filed or
    • > Since the date the candidate passed the Series 34 there has been no period of two consecutive years during which the applicant has not been either registered as an AP/FB, or FCM/RFED/IB/CTA/CPO/LTM that is a Member of NFA; or
  • the candidate is registered as an AP/FB/an approved sole proprietor on May 22, 2008, and there has been no period of two consecutive years since that date during which the applicant has not been either registered as an AP/FB, or FCM/RFED/IB/CTA/CPO/LTM that is a Member of NFA.
